Rahaf Mansour
Rahaf Mansour is an Interior Architecture student at Birzeit University from Majd Al-Krum in the Upper Galilee. Her practice explores material experimentation and the transformation of familiar materials into new, contemporary forms through design. Her academic work has included developing natural pigments from organic sources and transforming fragile materials such as paper from two-dimensional surfaces into three-dimensional structural objects. Through these explorations, she continues to investigate the potential of materials and innovative approaches to design.
Salah Jaber
Salah Jaber is a design student whose practice is rooted in storytelling and the exploration of how tradition can be brought into dialogue with innovation. Guided by a problem-solving approach, he develops meaningful and practical design solutions that balance creativity, purpose, and cultural context.
Hure Thaher
Hure Thaher is an emerging Palestinian designer working across graphic, fashion, and product design, with a focus on integrating cultural identity into contemporary forms. Her practice explores the intersection of tradition and innovation, combining research-driven approaches with meaningful, user-centered design. She is interested in developing culturally grounded work and collaborating across disciplines to explore new possibilities in contemporary design.
Nermin Nayfeh
Nermin Naifeh is a design student at Birzeit University whose practice explores storytelling through design and craftsmanship. Her work brings traditional Palestinian materials and narratives into conversation with contemporary design approaches, with a particular interest in animation, illustration, and product design. She focuses on cultural storytelling, children’s emotional learning, and creating meaningful, emotionally resonant experiences through design.
Shahd Abu Mariam
Shahd Abu Mariam is an Interior Architecture student at Birzeit University from Burham. Her practice focuses on sustainable design and material innovation, with particular interest in transforming discarded and natural waste materials into functional design elements. Her academic work has explored the use of materials such as pine needles as both textural elements and reinforcement when combined with clay. She also participated in a UNESCO Bamboo Weaving course, which expanded her understanding of bamboo as a versatile and sustainable material for contemporary design.
Hind Abu Alnaser
Hind Abu Alnaser is a Palestinian fashion and textile designer specializing in sustainable design, cultural heritage, and handcrafted practices. Holding a Bachelor's degree in General Design with a focus on Fashion Design from Birzeit University, the design practice explores the relationship between traditional Palestinian crafts and contemporary fashion, with an emphasis on heritage preservation, responsible materials, and slow fashion approaches.
Sunodus Akkari
Sondus Akkari is a Palestinian designer working across graphic, fashion, product, and UI/UX design, with a practice rooted in the intersection of innovation, cultural identity, and storytelling. Her work explores the relationship between aesthetics and functionality, with a particular focus on preserving and reinterpreting Palestinian craft traditions. Through contemporary, youth-oriented approaches to crafts such as mother-of-pearl work, she seeks to create designs that balance authenticity, sustainability, and contemporary appeal.
