POTTERY
The pottery training introduced participants to the basic processes of clay preparation, wheel throwing, shaping, joining, finishing, drying, coloring, and glazing. Participants began with simple cups as warm-up exercises before progressing to bowls, plates, vases, and candle holders, gradually developing greater confidence and control over the pottery wheel and hand-building techniques. The training also introduced decorative techniques, including drawing and coloring, as well as glazing and pigment application on fired pieces. Toward the final stage, participants developed and produced their final pieces, testing different forms, colors, and glazing techniques. Faculty members from the Faculty of Arts, Music, and Design provided feedback and supported experimentation, while UNESCO and Department of Culture representatives visited the project during the final session.
